Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to perform diagnostic procedures in a patient-centered setting. You will prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, acquire high-quality images, and contribute to safety and infection control practices.

The role requires accurate documentation in EMR and collaboration with physicians across departments. The position is on-site in northern Illinois, with opportunities to support PET services as needed and to participate in

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program.
• Experience or willingness to work with PET services as needed.
• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepares patients and explains procedures to minimize anxiety.
• Operates nuclear medicine equipment and processes data for review.
• Documents procedures in the EMR and supports PACS workflows.
• Assists with safety and quality standards and with PET services when required.
