Qualifications
Associate degree in Allied Health with a focus on Nuclear Medicine Technology.
CPR Certification required.
Nuclear Medicine registry required.
ODH licensure required.
ARRT RT (R) registry required and/or NMTCB.
Responsibilities
Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures as ordered, evaluates image quality.
Obtains clinical history for correlation with procedures.
Implements safety measures per prescribed standards.
Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
Assists Radiologist in special procedures during emergencies.
Coordinates patient care with other departments.
Educates patients and families about procedures.
Maintains accurate records and reports.
