Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Diagnostic Mammography Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Charlotte, NC. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, assist with biopsies, and support physicians in breast care while adhering to imaging protocols.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-certified in Radiography and Mammography, holds an active state license where required, and may have 3+ years of Mammography experience. No overnights; competitive benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms under physician guidance.

Facility: Novant Health Breast Center - Lillington | Location: Charlotte, NC | Full-Time (5x8 or 4x10, weekdays only)

This role is sign-on bonus eligible.

What You'll Do

The Diagnostic Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammograms to evaluate abnormal findings and assist in the diagnosis of breast conditions, and assists with invasive procedures, such as biopsies and aspirations, under the guidance of a physician.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Desire to continue education in diagnostic mammography
• Desire to continue education in breast sonography
