Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Mobile Mammography Technologist for outpatient imaging in the Greater Charlotte area. You will perform screening mammography in a mobile setting, travel between sites, and ensure high-quality images with patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates are ARRT-certified in Radiography and Mammography, state-licensed where required, and able to collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography (RT(R)M).
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography in mobile/outpatient setting with safety and efficiency.
• Travel to assigned sites and position patients to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

Facility: Novant Health Mobile Mammography Coach | Location: Greater Charlotte, NC | Full-Time, 4x10, possible weekends

This role is sign-on bonus eligible.

What You'll Do

The Mobile Mammography Technologist performs screening mammography examinations in a mobile setting, ensuring safe and efficient patient care while traveling to assigned locations, preparing and positioning patients, operating mammography equipment, and obtaining images that meet established clinical and regulatory standards .

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography - RT(R)(M)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
