Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Mammography Technologist I to join our Durham Diagnostic Imaging team. This PRN role supports imaging services, covering PTO during the week and on weekends in Durham, NC.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-certified in Radiography and Mammography, holds the required state license, and has up to 2 years of Mammography experience. Join a patient-focused environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M).
• Applicable state license where required.
• 0–2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.

• The Mammography Technologist assists physicians in screening imaging and operates mammographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.

What You'll Do

The Mammography Technologist assists physicians in the performance of screening imaging by preparing the patient and operating the mammographic equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M)
• Applicable state license where required
• 0-2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Desire to continue education in diagnostic mammography
