Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Diagnostic Mammography Technologist for our outpatient imaging team. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms and support physician-guided procedures in a patient‑focused environment.

This full‑time role offers weekday schedules (5x8 or 4x10), a sign‑on bonus eligibility, no overnight or on‑call shifts, and a strong commitment to professional growth, including tuition support and cross‑training opportunities with Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M).
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms to evaluate findings and assist in diagnosis under physician guidance.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as biopsies and aspirations as directed by a physician.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.

Facility: Novant Health Breast Center - Lillington | Location: Charlotte, NC | Full-Time (5x8 or 4x10, weekdays only)

What You'll Do

The Diagnostic Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammograms to evaluate abnormal findings and assist in the diagnosis of breast conditions, and assists with invasive procedures, such as biopsies and aspirations, under the guidance of a physician.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Desire to continue education in diagnostic mammographyDesire to continue education in breast sonography
