Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Durham, NC, is seeking a Mammography Technologist II to join our outpatient imaging team. You will prepare patients and operate mammography equipment to acquire diagnostic images in a patient-focused environment.

This full-time role offers no overnight shifts, a supportive benefits package, tuition assistance for modality training, and a quarterly bonus program, with 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM M-F hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M).
• Applicable state license where required.
• 2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in screening imaging and operate mammography equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

What You'll Do

The Mammography Technologist assists physicians in the performance of screening imaging by preparing the patient and operating the mammographic equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M)
• Applicable state license where required
• 2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Desire to continue education in diagnostic mammography
