Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients across ages. The role requires independent judgment under a Radiologist's direction to adapt procedures for optimal results.

Qualifications

• Registered radiologic technologist with ARRT certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (IEMA) or equivalent license.
• Associated/educational credentials in radiologic technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Serve as resource and mentor for staff during radiographic procedures.
• Ensure image quality with proper filters, collimation, markers, and patient identification.
• Maintain patient comfort and radiation protection practices.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain clean, stocked work area.
• Support department workflow and timely reporting.
