Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Ability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures independently, with knowledge of safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Ability to educate team members and adapt to various clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper patient identification and preparation.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols and optimize technical factors.
• Evaluate image quality and assist licensed practitioners with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, document radiation exposure activities.
• Educate or monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Perform procedures outside the radiology department as needed.
• Ensure data transfer and storage compliance.
