Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging with a strong focus on patient safety and image quality.

You will work independently and with a team to ensure accurate imaging, follow ALARA principles, and support education for students and staff in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role requires commitment to continuous learning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Specialty training in radiologic technology.
• ARRT-R certification within six months if not already held.
• Bachelor's degree or related field preferred.
• Commitment to safety and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to ensure safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, documenting activities.
• Evaluate images for proper positioning and quality, verify data storage and transfer, and perform post-processing as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist licensed practitioners during procedures.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures both within and outside the radiology department, such as in operating rooms or ICU.
