Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensure proper patient identification, and document clinical history with confidentiality.

Responsibilities include image evaluation for quality, education of students and staff, and assisting with fluoroscopic procedures outside standard radiology settings.

Qualifications

• Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
• ARRT-R registry within 6 months is required for new hires.
• Date-based progression steps to level 2 must be completed within 24 months for hires after a specified date.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient order, ensure proper identification and preparation, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality and proper positioning, verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside radiology settings.
