Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures throughout a clinical environment. You will independently execute radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, ensuring patient safety and data accuracy for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

The role emphasizes ALARA principles, patient preparation, and collaboration with the healthcare team, including teaching and supervising students while maintaining high safety

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R certification within 6 months.
• Ability to perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, evaluate images, and follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access under licensed practitioner's prescription.
• Evaluate image quality, verify proper positioning, and manage data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.
• Assist practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including in non-radiology settings such as operating rooms and ICU.
