Qualifications

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform radiological and fluoroscopic exams using proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
Operate all equipment within the modality proficiently.
Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective devices.
Analyze patient characteristics such as body size, age, and suspected pathology to ensure accurate examinations.
Assist physicians with various procedures.
Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or adjustments.
Maintain detailed records and documentation.
Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.
Contribute to the educational training of students.
