Job summary

Newport Hospital & Health Services in Maryland is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and X-ray exams while upholding patient safety protocols. You will prepare patients, position them for optimal imaging, and review radiation doses to ensure accuracy and safety.

The role requires graduation from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, and CT certification within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration and CT certification within one year of hire.
• State licensure to perform diagnostic CT exams.
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and/or XRAY exams with safety and proper technique.
• Instruct and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Review prescribed radiation doses for accuracy and safety.
• Maintain aseptic technique and equipment safety.
