Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform a variety of CT exams for diagnostic interpretation. You will support radiologists, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging and documentation in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification, Massachusetts radiology licensure, and a commitment to exceptional patient care within a fast-paced environment. A signing bonus may be available and the position is based on-site in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic program and ARRT/NMTCB certified.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a radiologic professional.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT examinations appropriate to patient age in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• Completes records, paperwork and billings promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients and assists with interventional exams.
• Sends exams to PACS and performs QC on images.
• Maintains inventory and assists with supplies purchasing.
• Supports other departments and urgent exam requests as needed.
• Performs CT exams using contrast media under Radiologist/Emergency Physician supervision.
• Establishes IV access for contrast injection per policy.
