Job summary

Mercy Health’s St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital seeks a CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic CT imaging and direct patient care.

You will operate CT equipment, position patients, administer contrast when needed, and support radiologists in procedures in a compassionate and timely manner. The role requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology with CT registration or a plan to obtain within two years, plus an associate degree.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT or Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
• Associate's degree ARRT accredited institute preferred.
• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• CT modality registration (ARRT) preferred or must obtain within two years.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanning equipment to provide diagnostic images for patient care.
• Properly position patients and ensure correct data is captured.
• Administer contrast agents as required and ensure safe handling of IVs.
• Assist radiologists with procedures and biopsies using sterile technique.
• Maintain knowledge of CT IT systems (Radiant, PACS) and perform on-call rotations.
