Job summary
Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital Diabetes Care is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join its endocrinology team in Baltimore. You will perform advanced chronic disease management, lead patient assessments, and coordinate care with a supportive physician group in a busy, full-service hospital setting.
The role includes a base salary with CME allowances and tail malpractice coverage, a collaborative culture, and a focus on diabetes technology optimization and patient education in both
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- Master's degree in Nursing required.
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
- DEA credential preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive endocrinology and diabetes care with assessments and diagnostic orders.
- Educate patients and families on treatment options, lifestyle changes, and community resources.
- Interpret CGM and insulin pump data and train patients on device use.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide coordinated care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
