DFX Integration Lead: Construction & Permitting

Job summary

JPI seeks an Integration Manager to join our DfX team in the West region. You will coordinate across technical, permitting, and commercial streams to keep design, approvals, and vendor commitments advancing together through the DFX life cycle.

The role reports to the Director, DfX. Responsibilities include tracking open items, managing permitting issues, and supporting vendor procurement and budget tracking for hard and soft costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in design management, construction, or permitting/entitlements, preferably in the multifamily industry.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, drawing details, utility coordination, and permitting/AHJ processes.
• Procore, Bluebeam, Oracle Primavera Cloud, AutoCAD, Revit, and permit tracking systems.
• Proven experience in design feasibility, constructability assessments, and permit strategy across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with vendor procurement and soft-cost budget management.

Responsibilities

• DFX Process Integration & Coordination across technical, permitting, and commercial work streams.
• Coordinate with Technical Leads and Permit Leads to keep the DFX process moving end to end.
• Track open items, decisions, and hand-offs across the DFX life cycle.
