Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Flow & Control DFX Engineer to own end-to-end flow and control design for high-volume space-grade hardware. You will bridge line architecture, control systems, and verification in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

You will drive DFM, DFA, DFT reviews, implement SPC, and ensure traceability from first operation to final acceptance. This role emphasizes manufacturability, testability, and reliability at constellation scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production systems, or process engineering in high-complexity environments.
• Experience designing or improving end-to-end manufacturing flows with multiple steps.
• Knowledge of process control methodologies: Control Plans, PFMEA, SPC, CPK.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end manufacturing process flow, connect production cells, and maintain VSMs/PFDs.
• Define and implement line-level process control strategies, CPPs and CQAs.
• Lead verification & test strategy across the line, including go/no-go criteria and ATPs.
• Own manufacturing data architecture, MES workflows, serialization and traceability across the line.
• Lead DFX reviews (DFM, DFA, DFT, DFI, DFC) at program milestones.
