Job summary

LAZ Parking in Dallas is seeking a Financial Analyst to support shuttle services and fleet maintenance with accurate financial analysis, data recording, and trend insights. You will report to the DFW Finance Manager and participate in client reporting, reconciliations, and budget maintenance.

The role requires 1+ year of financial management experience and a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent). Airport/government finance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in monthly client reports, statements, invoices, rent calculations, and rent payments.
  • Prepare client statements and payments directly.
  • Submit required reports for Finance Manager review.
  • Report on client payment distribution for accuracy.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and follow up variances.
  • Perform revenue reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and budget data entry forms.
  • Provide month-end variance analysis and cost deviation insights.
  • Prepare quarterly variance research and analysis.
  • Support audits and ensure contract compliance.
  • Review logs, KPIs, SLAs, LDs, and contract compliance.
  • Prepare backlog reports and review funding.
  • Prepare labor usage reports for operations teams.
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Job description

The Spirit of the Position:

TheDFW Financial Analyst provides financial analysis for 5 shuttle services and fleet maintenance, recording data, identifying trends and generating insights for the assigned locations. This position reports directly to the DFW Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the production of monthly client reports, statements, invoices, rent calculations, and rent payments to ensure accuracy and contract compliance.
  • Prepare client statements and payments directly.
  • Prepare and submit required reports for clients to DFW Finance Manager for review.
  • Report on client payment distribution to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations of assigned portfolios and follow up as needed on unreconciled variances.
  • Perform revenue reconciliations and follow up as needed on unreconciled variances.
  • Supply financial reports or analyses to onsite Airport Services teams and clients as needed.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and budget data entry forms that are accurate, concise and easy to digest.
  • Provide detailed month-end variance analysis and identification of cost deviations.
  • Prepare research, analysis, and report variance quarterly.
  • Support multiple contract types: Management Agreements, Leases, Fixed Fee, Time and Materials (Labor-Hour), and other hybrid models.
  • Work with internal and external audits to help resolve or adjudicate any adverse audit findings.
  • Review and audit daily logs, timecards, KPIs, SLAs, LDs, and contract compliance.
  • Prepare monthly backlog reports, review and confirm contract funding, and review AP Purchase Order funding.
  • Prepare labor usage reports for operational teams.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.
Experience and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • One or more years of experience in financial management.
  • Experience in airport or government finances or contracts preferred.
