Job summary

Louisiana Empowerment seeks a Community Outreach Coordinator to expand awareness of behavioral health services and build community referral relationships across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role requires proactive communication, group presentations, and independent work in the community.

You will engage with schools, healthcare providers, and social service agencies, coordinating health fairs and neighborhood events while maintaining thorough records and weekly progress updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in community outreach, relationship development, marketing, or related roles.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to interact respectfully with diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community travel.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, housing communities, social service agencies, and other referral partners.
• Identify and coordinate participation in health fairs, school events, resource fairs, neighborhood activities, and other outreach opportunities.
• Represent the company professionally at events, meetings, and presentations.
• Explain agency services, populations served, and the referral process clearly.
• Generate referrals and coordinate with intake staff for timely follow-up.
• Maintain active referral relationships with partners through regular follow-up.
• Research community needs and expand presence throughout Dallas and surrounding communities.
• Maintain outreach calendar and records of contacts, activities, referrals, events, and follow-up tasks.
• Provide weekly updates on outreach activities and opportunities.
• Coordinate event registration, supplies, setup, and breakdown.
• Participate in team meetings with leadership, intake, and clinical staff.
• PProtect confidential information and follow privacy policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
