Job summary

Amentum is seeking a DFAC Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations of military dining facilities in the United States. The role focuses on food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and facility operations while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and nutrition standards.

You will supervise staffing, scheduling, and execution of daily requirements, oversee large-volume meal production, and maintain quality, safety, and timely service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a similar food service supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supervising food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and quality control.
• Ability to travel internationally with a valid passport.
• Pass contract medical requirements and obtain facility credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight and management of all DFAC food service operations, including food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and facility operations.
• Supervise and coordinate staffing, scheduling, and execution of daily requirements.
• Oversee preparation of large volume meals using various cooking methods while ensuring quality, consistency, and timely service.
• Ensure all food service operations comply with contract requirements and applicable standards.
• Monitor daily operations for performance, safety, and quality expectations.
• Provide leadership and operational support to ensure successful DFAC mission execution.
• Oversee nutrition and health promotion standards compliance (AR 40-25, AR 600-60, PAM 600-24).
• Implement and ensure compliance of Food Safety and inspection programs (AR 40-656, AR 40-657, AR 40-660, TB MED 263, TB 530).
• Provide supervision, technical guidance, and training to DFAC employees.
• Mentor staff on food prep techniques, sanitation, safety, and customer service.
