Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Bone Density / DEXA Technologist in the Miami area to join an outpatient imaging team. The role focuses on DEXA examinations with a steady daytime schedule and high-quality patient care.

ARRT-certified technologist with bone density experience is preferred; ARRT(BD) is a plus but not required at hire. Primary duties include performing DEXA exams, ensuring image quality, proper positioning, documentation, and safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• DEXA/bone density experience preferred.
• ARRT(BD) certification is a plus but not required at hire.
• Experience with Hologic DEXA equipment is a strong plus.
• General diagnostic X-ray experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform DEXA / bone density examinations with high image quality.
• Position patients and follow bone densitometry protocols.
• Review images for quality and accuracy before completion.
• Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures.
• Work in a steady outpatient environment with 20-minute intervals.
• Provide professional care and clearly explain procedures.
• Occasionally assist with general X-ray coverage; DEXA is primary.
