The role ensures patient safety and communicates with radiologists as needed. The successful candidate will have ARRT certification, CPR, and a radiology school background, with flexibility for local travel and cross-location support as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification and state licensure as applicable.
• CPR certification required; valid driver’s license may be needed.
• Radiology school completion is advantageous; flexibility for multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic DEXA images with attention to radiation safety.
• Ensures proper documentation and technique when working with patients.
• Pre-screens for contraindications and maintains patient safety protocols.
• Communicates effectively with radiologists and may train other staff.
• Troubleshoots DEXA equipment and related peripherals as needed.
