Job summary

Griffin Fluid Management in Houston, TX, is seeking a Design Engineer to support our dewatering design team across projects. You will apply engineering principles to develop efficient groundwater control solutions and ensure designs meet project specifications.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and oversee the execution of dewatering designs from conception to completion, contributing to timely, safe, and cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, geotechnical engineering or geology required.
• PE/PG license preferred or currently pursuing either license.
• Strong communication and writing skills with demonstrated project management ability.

Responsibilities

• Dewatering system design and optimization for construction projects.
• Hydrogeological assessments to understand groundwater conditions and soil properties.
• Engineering calculations for pumping rates, well spacing, and related parameters.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and submittal reports.
• Provide technical sales support and assist with sales strategy development.
