Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. is hiring a DeWALT Service Technician for first shift in Addison, IL. On-the-job training is provided; experience is preferred but not required. You will repair portable tools, troubleshoot failures, and ensure safe operation in a production-style environment.

You will handle repairs, inspect equipment, perform testing, and manage parts inventory while meeting daily productivity targets. A strong focus on accuracy, safety, and quality will be essential to success.

The Job

• As a DeWALT Service Technician, you’ll be part of our Product Services team working as an on-site employee in a production style environment.
• You’ll get to: Handle repairs to all portable electric, pneumatic tool, construction equipment, and outdoor products.
• Troubleshoot tool failure--fully or partially disassembling unit to examine components for wear/defects and replacing parts that are worn or defective.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Properly inspect, analyze, and repair tools and equipment for safe operation
• Perform performance & safety testing on equipment after repair
• Complete work orders using repair parts and labor to include pricing and pertinent customer information.
• Manage inventory by ensuring accuracy with parts and accessories.
• Achieving daily productivity goals on the amount of tools repaired
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation Details

The Hourly rate for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The hourly rate offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. The hourly rate range listed in this job posting reflects the range for the primary location specified. The hourly rate range may vary for other locations. The successful candidate may be eligible for general wage increases.
