Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Task Planner for the Shelby, OH facility on 2nd shift. You will review, distribute and track production work and orders to meet ship dates, coordinating with supervisors and groups to keep material flowing and on schedule.

You’ll use a warehouse management system and perform 6S activities while solving problems and providing root-cause analysis across departments. This role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication in a fast-paced

  • Runs reports to monitor open customer orders for on-time completion.
  • Responsible for daily 6S activities and maintaining organized, safe work areas.

The Job Reviews and distributes production work and order processing work to meet shipment schedules; confers with department supervisors and group leaders to determine progress of work Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments Monitors workload for all areas of the operation Collaborates with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials Communicates with employees, supervisors, shipping, or planning Uses warehouse management system to release tasks to support the daily schedules Constantly analyzes the status and priorities of released work to ensure on time completion Provides problem solving assistance and root cause analysis to all levels of the organization related to resource planning and order status. Runs reports to monitor open customer orders to ensure on time completion Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork/check sheets. The Salary range for this position is $38,300.00 - $61,600.00 This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job‑related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
