Job summary

Integral Federal is seeking a Systems Software Developer, SME to provide DevSecOps and Agile IT support for USCG Aviation Logistics Center ISD portfolio. The role includes software development, design, testing, documentation, and client liaison to optimize operations.

The position requires a Secret clearance and extensive experience with cloud services, AD integrations, and modern software lifecycles in a government setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science, Math, IT, Engineering, or related field or IT Certification; six years' experience equivalent.
• Minimum of six years in software requirements, design, code, tests, lifecycle, architecture, and documentation.
• Minimum of six years in Windows Azure software development.
• In-depth knowledge of AD, Certificate Services, Azure AD integrations, and cloud services.
• Six years of program/project level experience for software design.
• Six years in an Agile DevSecOps software environment and methodologies.
• Six years of experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassified systems.
• Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop, create, modify, test, troubleshoot, and document general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Design software or customize software for client use to optimize operational efficiency.
• Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, logistics, and contracts.
• Participate in all phases of software engineering from design to deployment.
• Perform OS and application engineering, assess architecture and hardware limits.
• Define new design concepts and resolve complex hardware/software compatibility issues.
• Conduct requirements definition and data analysis; research emerging technologies.
