Job summary

Integral Federal is seeking DevSecOps and Agile IT support professionals to serve the US Coast Guard ISD portfolio. The role involves analyzing data processing problems, automating systems, and collaborating closely with end users on development and implementation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering, hands-on Kubernetes/Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket experience, and a Secret clearance. This is an on-site opportunity based in Elizabeth City, NC, within a federal contracting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or related field; or IT Certification.
Five+ years in software engineering including design, coding, testing, and documentation.
Experience with databases, network infrastructure, and data processing techniques.
Two years in an Agile DevSecOps software development environment and methodologies.
Two years with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
Must obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassified systems.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Analyze data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.
Analyze user requirements to automate or improve existing systems; review capabilities and scheduling.
Design business systems for applications such as financial, accounting, and HR.
Handle test scripts and service requirements; work with end users on development and implementation.
Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and information engineering to plan systems.
Define inputs, processing steps, and outputs to meet user needs.
Prepare cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems.
Notify ISSM/ISSO of changes affecting certifications and accreditations.
Ensure the site Configuration Management plan aligns with SDLC processes.
