Steampunk in McLean, VA is hiring a Quality Assurance Tester with 3–5 years of QA and test automation in an Agile/DevSecOps setting. You will write test plans, develop automation scripts, and ensure secure, compliant testing across cloud and on-premises environments.

You will collaborate with design and development teams, implement automated testing pipelines, and maintain test data, aiming for robust CI/CD integration and rapid release cycles.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience with Git SCM providers (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• 3+ years programming or scripting experience.
• 3+ years DevSecOps in Agile environment with CI/CD.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, RestAssured, Postman).
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (performance, security, functional).
• Experience with one or more cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.

• Understand stakeholders' needs and convey to developers.
• Meet with product design team to determine testing parameters.
• Write test plans, create test cases, and report bugs and QA reports.
• Manage test data architecture and testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot errors and streamline test procedures.
• Conduct data validation, functional, performance/load, usability, and accessibility testing.
• Establish automated testing tools and infrastructure.
• Validate testing across cloud migrations and parallelized test scripts.
• Improve DevSecOps processes and tools; provide status updates and mentorship.
