Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned DevOps/Platform Engineer in Rochester, NY to design, secure, automate, and operate the software delivery platform. The role focuses on CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, and hybrid-cloud deployment, with emphasis on software supply-chain security.

You will implement secure pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, automate deployments to Azure and Kubernetes, and develop IaC using Terraform and Helm while collaborating with product engineers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or DevSecOps.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, Python/Bash/PowerShell.
• Experience with Azure/AWS, Azure Arc, Azure Stack Hub and hybrid-cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, IAM, OAuth2/OIDC, PKI, secure SDLC and industrial cybersecurity.
• Experience with Agile Scrum; SAFe 6.0 preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to automate engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Enable product squads by designing, securing, automating, and operating the software delivery platform.
• Build CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, observability, hybrid-cloud deployment, and software supply-chain security.
• Design secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployments for Azure, Azure Arc, and Kubernetes.
• Implement SAST, DAST, SBOMs, artifact signing, and vulnerability management.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, and Helm.
• Partner with Product Engineers, Architects, and QA.
