Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform engineer in New Jersey to own and scale enterprise CI/CD pipelines. You will architect IaC-driven self-service platforms and enforce RBAC across Kubernetes and cloud IAM. The role focuses on cloud-native infra, observability, and security across Azure and AWS.

You will implement canary/blue-green deployment patterns, strengthen policy-as-code, and drive scalable automation for provisioning, deploying, and monitoring workloads.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and Kubernetes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale enterprise-wide CI/CD pipelines using modern orchestration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CI, ArgoCD)
• Architect developer self-service platforms with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
• Implement RBAC across Kubernetes, cloud IAM, and toolchains for security/compliance
• Build extensible automation frameworks to provision, deploy, monitor workloads with minimal friction
• Evaluate next-generation CI/CD features like ephemeral environments and policy-as-code enforcement
• Manage cloud-native infrastructure (Azure and AWS) focusing on resiliency and cost optimization
• Lead adoption of Kubernetes with advanced configuration (service mesh, Cilium, Calico, OPA/Gatekeeper)
