Job summary

Expedition Technology (EXP) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team to provide DevSecOps for a new DoW program. You will containerize Python apps, deploy to Kubernetes, and build tooling and CI pipelines to accelerate workflows.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, delivering IaC using CloudFormation, Terraform, and/or Packer, and ensuring compliance with NIST/ CMMC policies. A TS/SCI clearance is required and a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
• Understanding git workflows (branching, etc.) and release engineering approaches to software development
• 3+ years hands-on experience in: Building highly automated infrastructure and cloud-native apps
• Delivery of infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation, Terraform and/or Packer
• Troubleshooting Linux networking, storage, and related services and familiar with security policies

Responsibilities

• Write and review Python code with testing
• Container development and orchestration (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Rancher, ArgoCD)
• Develop and deploy DevSecOps capabilities across multiple projects
• Understand git workflows and release engineering approaches
• Deliver infrastructure-as-code solutions using CloudFormation, Terraform, and/or Packer
• Troubleshoot Linux networking and related services
• Operate within compliance policies (e.g., NIST 800-53, 800-171, CMMC)
