Job summary

Expedition Technology in Herndon, VA is seeking a Cloud Development Software Engineer to design, develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS, including secure deployments for DoD and Intelligence Communities.

You will work with a collaborative team applying DevOps practices, containerization, and CloudFormation to build scalable, resilient infrastructure across cleared and uncleared environments.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Experience with cloud deployments in a cleared environment
• Experience with DevOps best practices
• Containerization experience
• Prior support of CI/CD development
• Experience with developing CloudFormation templates
• Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Responsibilities

• Manage cleared cloud deployments using C2S
• Work with a team to manage existing AWS infrastructure in GovCloud
• Utilize DevOps skills to maintain and support software engineering efforts
• Design and develop CloudFormation templates for reusability
• Collaborate across cleared and uncleared environments to develop compatible infrastructure
