Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure. You will implement IaC with Terraform, automate deployments, and embed security into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities include managing core AWS/Azure services, building pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and ensuring governance, cost optimization, and compliance across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on DevOps/DevSecOps, Cloud or Infrastructure engineering.
• AWS and/or Azure certifications preferred (DevOps/SA, Azure certs, Terraform).
• Hands-on with AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2/VPC/IAM/S3/Lambda/ECS/EKS).
• Experience with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS).
• Understanding of IAM/RBAC, secrets, encryption, security testing, and least privilege.
• Proficiency in scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash; AWS/Azure CLI.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Integrate security into pipelines: vulnerability and secrets scanning, container/IaC security checks.
• Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, ECR, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
• Support Azure services including VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Entra ID, App Services, Monitor.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls: IAM/RBAC, encryption, network security.
• Automate tasks with Python, PowerShell, Bash, AWS/Azure CLI; troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and deployment procedures; improve automation and cost efficiency.
