Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to support SBA in Washington, DC. This role focuses on building, securing, and operating CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automation across cloud environments, with a requirement to obtain a Public Trust.

You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate SAST/DAST, SCA, container security, and pipeline security into the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of progressive experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or DevOps/DevSecOps in federal or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience integrating security tooling (SAST/DAST/SCA) and container security into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps toolchains for SBA, with secure, automated processes.
• Integrate security tools (SAST/DAST/SCA, container security, IaC security) throughout the SDLC.
• Implement and maintain IaC practices and tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enforce DevSecOps standards and quality gates.
• Support cloud migration/modernization and SBOM/trust initiatives within SBA environments.
• Develop DevSecOps documentation and participate in code/architecture/security reviews.
