Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 8+ years in DevSecOps or 12+ years equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Experience deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP using IaC such as Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK.
• Experience containerizing workloads with Docker and orchestrating with Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating automated security checks into CI/CD (SAST, SCA, image scanning).
• Linux administration and scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Git-based branching, tagging, and release workflows.
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, load balancing, TLS).
• Cloud or DevOps certifications (AWS SA, CKA, CKAD) and Security+.
• U.S. Citizenship and DoD clearance capability.

Aufgaben

• Bridge database engineering, API development, DevSecOps automation, and secure platform architecture.
• Build MVP concepts with platform teams and create reusable templates for multiple databases.
• Design, tune, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, Oracle, MongoDB, AWS RDS).
• Support database migration, backup, replication, disaster recovery, and PITR.
• Support secure software delivery per DoD, IC, RMF, ICD-503, NIST SP 800-53, STIG, and continuous monitoring.
