MTSI is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for an in-person role at the government customer’s organization in WPAFB, Dayton, OH. You will design, implement, and sustain cloud-native and traditional infrastructure, ensuring security controls meet requirements and supporting development, testing, operations, and sustainment.

The role emphasizes Agile DevSecOps, documentation, vendor coordination, and collaboration with security SMEs to maintain robust security across environments.

Qualificações

• 10+ years combined experience in Network/Cloud/Security/Software/DevOps/DevSecOps/SRE/Infrastructure.
• Experience developing design and standards documentation.
• Experience with Active Directory, IDPs, SSO, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, remote access, VLANs or similar admin tech.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Istio, ArgoCD, GitLab/GitLab CI, Nexus, Grype, Syft, OpenSCAP, NeuVector, Grafana, Jira/Confluence, SonarQube, TwistLock, Coder, Packer, Terraform, Ansible or related tech.
• Experience with Python, Go, C++, Java or similar.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services, including Kubernetes, networking, storage, and compute.
• Proficiency with GitOps, IaC, and DevOps.
• Proficiency with lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure, and tools.
• Proficiency with creating enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.

Responsabilidades

• Help create and maintain IT related processes for planning, execution, and reporting across DevSecOps, architecture, integration, verification, transition, configuration management, software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud services, and multi-level security.
• Champion Agile development and modern DevSecOps workflows while guiding teammates on best practices.
• Write documentation for DevSecOps standards, processes, designs, and other required documents.
• Assist in vendor interactions to discuss features and architectural needs.
• Help design and define system architecture for new or existing systems.
• Support and contribute to implementation, expansion, configuration, compliance, security, operations, and maintenance of multiple technologies and tools.
• Oversee and manage site reliability of the systems.
• Oversee CI/CD activities for system infrastructure and tooling.
• Ensure security and best practices across all processes.
• Collaborate with IA and Cybersecurity SMEs to ensure controls are implemented.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code for Cloud services.
