E&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Alexandria, VA, supporting the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office. The role emphasizes secure platform architecture, cloud engineering, and automation across CI/CD pipelines.

U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI with CI poly are required. Candidates should have 8+ years in DevSecOps, 12+ years without a degree, experience with Docker/Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK), and security compliance (RMF, NIST SP

Qualifications

Bachelor's in a STEM field with 8+ years in DevSecOps or related roles.
Proven CI/CD design experience with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
Cloud infra deployment on AWS/Azure/GCP using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Integrate SAST/SCA and image scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
Linux admin skills and scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
Git-based branching, tagging, and release workflows.

Responsibilities

Bridge database engineering, API development, DevSecOps automation.
Build MVPs from concept and create reusable templates for multiple databases.
Design, tune, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, Oracle, MongoDB, AWS RDS).
Support database migration, backup, replication, disaster recovery, and point-in-time recovery.
Ensure secure software delivery per DoD, IC, RMF, ICD-503, NIST SP 800-53, STIG, and continuous monitoring requirements.
