Wingbrace is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to design and implement the DevSecOps tooling ecosystem, improve cyber hardening, and automate IaC across hybrid cloud and air-gapped defense environments.

The role requires 3–5 years in software development, CI/CD, and platform operations, with strong Kubernetes admin skills and DoD clearance readiness. On-site in Lincoln, MA, with opportunities in advanced defense tech.

Qualifications

• US citizen eligible for DoD clearance within one year.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software or electrical engineering.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Referenceable project-based team experience.
• 3–5 years supporting software development, CI/CD, and platform operations.
• Hands-on GitLab CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Kubernetes administration with CNCF certs preferred.
• Automation with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker/Podman and private registries.
• IAM/RBAC with Keycloak and Active Directory.
• SonarQube for code quality and security checks.
• Azure cloud infra including Azure Government.

Responsabilités

• Design, analyze, and implement DevSecOps tooling ecosystem.
• Drive cyber assurance, system hardening, and security controls across environments.
• Develop automation scripts and IaC to reduce manual processes.
• Contribute to platform architecture roadmaps and internal software factory delivery.
• Architect, administer, and scale Kubernetes clusters across hybrid/cloud environments.
• Evaluate emerging DevSecOps tools and security scanners.
