Wingbrace is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to advance security, automation, and cloud platform capabilities across hybrid environments. You will design, implement, and operate DevSecOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes clusters for defense-grade software.

The role requires DoD familiarity, strong Linux, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), and collaboration with engineering teams to raise security postures and improve platform efficiency.

Qualifications

• US citizen eligible for DoD clearance within a year.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software or electrical engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical presentations.
• 3–5 years in software development, CI/CD, and platform operations.
• Hands-on GitLab CI/CD and Kubernetes administration experience.
• Cloud experience including Azure Government and on-premises environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, analyze, and implement DevSecOps tooling ecosystem.
• Drive cyber assurance, system hardening, and security controls.
• Develop automation scripts and IaC to reduce manual work.
• Contribute to platform architecture roadmaps for internal software factory.
• Architect and scale Kubernetes clusters across hybrid cloud and on‑prem.
• Evaluate emerging DevSecOps tools and security scanners.
• Balance strategic architecture with practical execution for value.
