Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for the National Security Practice. You will build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, leverage Cloud technologies, and secure Kubernetes clusters in a federal environment.

The role requires Kubernetes expertise, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Cloud experience, with TS/SCI eligibility as a likely expectation. Base pay ranges reflect multi-state federal compensation guidelines and are disclosed for several locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or at least 5 years of DevSecOps experience
• 1 year of experience with agile methodologies in the system development life cycle
• 1 year of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code
• 1 year of experience with Commercial Cloud Services
• 1 year of experience with Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (Amazon EKS)
• Deploy applications into Kubernetes using Platform One Big Bang Service (Helm, Kustomize, scripts)
• Provide admin for DevSecOps tools (GitLab, Coder, Nexus Repository Management, Jira & Confluence)
• Implement security hardening (e.g. STIG) for OS nodes and Kubernetes clusters
• Automate routine operations by scripting REST API calls to DevSecOps tools
• Improve cloud IT OPS by automating cybersecurity tooling and building Grafana dashboards
