Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a mid-level DevSecOps Engineer to sustain containerized Linux stacks and AWS-based pipelines. You will support IaC with CloudFormation, implement CI/CD across GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins, and help remediate vulnerabilities in a secure government-focused environment.

Onsite in the Washington, DC area, you will work with Tomcat, Nginx, Drupal, Node.js and related tools, reading logs and automating security tasks while collaborating with a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required and onsite in Washington, DC.
• AWS Cloud engineering skills with ECS and/or EKS experience.
• Build and maintain Linux-based Docker Containers.
• 4+ years' experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificate and PKI management.
• Experience with AI Code Assist (Claude Code, Codex, etc.).
• Developing and maintaining IaC using CloudFormation.
• Experience with Tomcat, Drupal, Nginx; Node.js administration and deployment.
• REST and SOAP API integration experience; Basic scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multiple client-managed cloud application stacks (Tomcat, Drupal, React, Node.js, Nginx) on Linux containers in AWS ECS/EKS.
• Support IaC with CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and manage PKI certificates.
• Read application and system logs and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with REST and SOAP API integrations and automation tasks.
