Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation in Reston, VA seeks an E-EFMP DevSecOps Engineer to support secure software delivery within a large federal DoD-aligned mission environment. This fully remote role focuses on maintaining CI/CD pipelines, security scanning, and IaC-driven deployments.

The ideal candidate will hold a Secret clearance, have 5+ years in DevSecOps, and be proficient with Git-based workflows, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Collaboration with cybersecurity teams and engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, IT Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, cloud engineering, or software automation roles.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, code integration, and deployment automation.
• Experience implementing security scanning tools and secure DevSecOps practices.
• Experience configuring and managing version control systems (Git-based).
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in cloud or hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and code integration workflows.
• Implement and maintain security scanning, SAST/DAST tooling, and dependency checks.
• Manage CMS and application environment configurations across DEV, TEST, STAGE, and PROD.
• Maintain version control repositories, branching standards, and merge patterns.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure secure coding, build reliability, and release readiness.
• Support automated infrastructure provisioning using cloud-native tools and IaC frameworks.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, build issues, configuration errors, and deployment blockers.
• Optimize pipeline performance, deployment speed, and automation reliability.
• Document pipeline processes, configuration standards, and environment setup procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, and release preparation.
