The role requires US citizenship, a BS in Engineering or CS, 5 years in DevSecOps/Cloud, and DoD 8570 IAT II certification or equivalent. Strong scripting (Python/Bash/Go) and IaC (Terraform, Helm, Ansible) are essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Architecture experience.
• CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Proven experience with CI/CD ecosystems (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes environments (K8s, EKS, RKE2) and IaC tools like Helm, Ansible, Terraform.
• Experience configuring and optimizing enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, Rocky, Ubuntu).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation and integration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and automate infrastructure deployments (IaC) and updates.
• Design, implement, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines with security checks.
• Integrate continuous security and compliance checks into pipelines.
• Manage scalable containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
• Engineer observability, monitoring, and reliability across systems.
• Share on-call duties and assist with troubleshooting performance issues.
