Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for our Columbus, Ohio location. You will design, implement, and enhance cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalable software delivery.

You will build IaC with Terraform and manage Azure DevOps pipelines while collaborating with software engineers, architecture, and stakeholders to set standards and guardrails. You will also support production deployments, monitor security, and help maintain C#/.NET services as needed, in an

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of Microsoft Azure design, implementation, and administration.
• 4+ years using Azure DevOps, VSTS, or Visual Studio Online.
• 2+ years building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• 1+ year of Terraform or similar IaC technologies.
• 2+ years of C#/.NET software development experience.
• Strong cloud infra, security, identity, and platform engineering knowledge.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-900 through AZ-400 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for designing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing cloud infrastructure solutions that support the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise applications and services.
• Responsible for building and managing platform capabilities that enable software engineering teams to efficiently develop, test, deploy, and support business-critical applications.
• Develops and maintains Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Azure-native technologies to automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration management.
• Designs, implements, and supports Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines that enable secure, reliable, and repeatable software delivery processes.
• Collaborates with software engineers, architecture teams, and business stakeholders to establish cloud platform standards, security guardrails, and deployment best practices.
• Monitors and continuously improves cloud infrastructure performance, availability, security posture, and operational efficiency.
• Provides support for production deployments and platform operations while ensuring adherence to organizational security and compliance requirements.
• Contributes to the maintenance and enhancement of C#/.NET applications and services as needed to support platform and deployment initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, a business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of Microsoft Azure experience, including cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
• 4+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft source control and development lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), or Visual Studio Online.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• 1+ year of experience utilizing Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• 2+ years of C#/.NET software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, identity management, and platform engineering principles.
• Experience supporting production environments and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-900, SC-900, AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-500, SC-300, AZ-305, and/or AZ-400 are highly preferred.

You must be currently located in Ohio to be considered for this position.

This is a fully in-office position.

This is full-time direct hire, not a contract position.
