Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor, seeks a DevSecOps Engineer in Columbus, Ohio. You will design and maintain cloud infrastructure, implement IaC with Terraform, and develop secure CI/CD pipelines. The role emphasizes security, reliability, and collaboration with engineering teams.

Requirements include 4+ years Azure experience, Azure DevOps expertise, and 2+ years CI/CD work. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of Microsoft Azure experience, including design, implementation, and administration.
• 4+ years with Azure DevOps, VSTS, or Visual Studio Online for development lifecycles.
• 2+ years implementing and supporting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• 1+ year using Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• 2+ years of C#/.NET software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, identity, and platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance cloud infrastructure for reliability and security.
• Build and manage platform capabilities enabling software teams to deploy and support apps.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Azure-native technologies.
• Design and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to establish platform standards and guardrails.
• Monitor and improve cloud performance, availability, and security posture.
• Provide support for production deployments and platform operations.
• Contribute to maintenance of C#/.NET applications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for designing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing cloud infrastructure solutions that support the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise applications and services.
• Responsible for building and managing platform capabilities that enable software engineering teams to efficiently develop, test, deploy, and support business-critical applications.
• Develops and maintains Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Azure-native technologies to automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration management.
• Designs, implements, and supports Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines that enable secure, reliable, and repeatable software delivery processes.
• Collaborates with software engineers, architecture teams, and business stakeholders to establish cloud platform standards, security guardrails, and deployment best practices.
• Monitors and continuously improves cloud infrastructure performance, availability, security posture, and operational efficiency.
• Provides support for production deployments and platform operations while ensuring adherence to organizational security and compliance requirements.
• Contributes to the maintenance and enhancement of C#/.NET applications and services as needed to support platform and deployment initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, a business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of Microsoft Azure experience, including cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
• 4+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft source control and development lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), or Visual Studio Online.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• 1+ year of experience utilizing Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• 2+ years of C#/.NET software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, identity management, and platform engineering principles.
• Experience supporting production environments and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-900, SC-900, AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-500, SC-300, AZ-305, and/or AZ-400 are highly preferred.
