Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for our Columbus, Ohio location. You will design, implement, and enhance cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalable software delivery.

You will build IaC with Terraform and manage Azure DevOps pipelines while collaborating with software engineers, architecture, and stakeholders to set standards and guardrails. You will also support production deployments, monitor security, and help maintain C#/.NET services as needed, in an

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of Microsoft Azure design, implementation, and administration.
• 4+ years using Azure DevOps, VSTS, or Visual Studio Online.
• 2+ years building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• 1+ year of Terraform or similar IaC technologies.
• 2+ years of C#/.NET software development experience.
• Strong cloud infra, security, identity, and platform engineering knowledge.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-900 through AZ-400 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance cloud infra for reliability and security.
• Build and manage platform capabilities to support dev teams in development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform and Azure-native tools to provision resources.
• Design and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for secure, repeatable delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to set cloud standards and guardrails.
• Monitor and improve performance, availability, and security posture of the cloud.
• Provide production support and ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Contribute to maintenance of C#/.NET apps to support deployment initiatives.
