Job summary
KBR is seeking a Cybersecurity Practitioner in Oklahoma to evaluate third-party software, assess compliance, and recommend risk-mitigation strategies for IT and OT environments. The role emphasizes DEVSECOPS practices and secure coding within a RMF framework.
The candidate will perform SAST on source and binary analysis, reverse engineer software to uncover flaws, and develop tools to consolidate logs and generate CONMON artifacts for ongoing monitoring.
Qualifications
- Requires at least 3 years of experience in software engineering, software development or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with secure coding principles and risk management methodologies.
- Possible certifications within six months: CySA+, CGRC, Security+, CISSP, SSCP, or CSSLP.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and verify third-party software deliverables and assess technical compliance reports.
- Provide risk-mitigation recommendations for IT and OT systems.
- Conduct SAST on source code and static binary analysis on executables.
- Reverse engineer commercial and custom software to identify flaws and defects.
- Develop and maintain custom utilities to gather system information and generate CONMON artifacts.
