Job summary

Infor Inc. is seeking an Associate Development Operations Engineer to help maintain stability, reliability, and performance of our cloud applications. You will work with Operations, Development, and Cloud teams to support enterprise environments and evolve a legacy platform.

The role emphasizes on-call responsiveness, automation of tasks via Python/Bash/PowerShell, and hands-on experience with AWS in a hybrid on-site/remote model. Growth opportunities exist within a SaaS-focused department.

Qualifications

Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience supporting Linux-based production environments.
Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux operating systems.
Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, preferably AWS.
Experience supporting critical production systems and responding to operational incidents in a structured environment.
Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to issue prevention.
Ability to work on-site three days per week as part of a hybrid work model.
Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule (approximately every third weekend).
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Participate in a rotating on‑call support schedule (approximately every third weekend).
Monitor production environments and infrastructure health to identify potential issues.
Analyze trends, capacity metrics, alerts, and system behavior to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with development and cloud operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Automate operational tasks and streamline support processes using scripting.
Support AWS-based cloud environments and maintain highly available applications.
Document findings, procedures, and recommendations to improve reliability.
